Honestly, I'm the most die-hard Nissan guy around... I'm gonna buy Nissan no matter what. But those "grocery getters" are just plainly, and simply, better than the Z... looks withstanding. They are simply, when bone stock, more agile and more fast...
I love my car and all, but who are we kidding? Oooo, but our cars are prettier
... again, don't mean to ruffle any feathers here, I bleed Nissan, but I can appreciate all cars, and I'm happy as hell that the Z is pretty, but I know when another car is simply the better car.
JDM supremacy has always been about the GT-R vs Evo vs Supra...
I know that this may come off as me taking it the wrong way, but it always bugs me when Z owners make the cop out of bringing up the 4 doors and looks.

^werd. If I wanted performance, I would have been all over that Evo. The STi is halfway between the Evo and Z... it's got a nicer interior than the Evo but isn't quite up to to the style of the Z.
I would quit mentioning the 4-door thing; it just reminds us that these 4-doors are faster than our 2-seaters.
Needless to say, I'm happy with the car I bought
