I have an intake pipe behind mine so no biggie. For the NA guys and guys running the Pop-charger as long as its not one of those crazy, windy rain is falling sideways into your airscoop as you redline around you should be fine. Ive NEVER heard of any problems related to the air duct. If you are worried you can make a little cover for it for bad weather.

I was looking into getting one myself. It does make the Z look better IMO and its functional.

Ouch that price is high. Any vendor selling anything over MSRP is a rip off, even things that are hard to find imo. Of course this is just my opinion what do I know

For some reason I felt your post coming. Haha, I respect your opinion but the MSRP actually went up on the ducts. The new MSRP is actually $190 so in turn, our price is really reasonable especially for being an in stock item.

I guess I lucked out when I got mine. I think I paid something like $148 and it was in stock too.

Can you get a inverted one so you can have another one on the other side? Pass side is begging for a nostril

I just ordered the Evo-R duct and air tube - Not sure about color matching it to my Redline or leaving it black. I think I am leaning more for color matching since its not CF.

If it'll help, here's a pic of the CF air duct unpainted on a redline:
