Went to Nopi this weekend. Got to see Carlos Stevens Jr. run two 8.1 passes at the track back to back in his gorgeous Z, among other very fast cars. (pics are big sorry. If you know how to make them smaller feel free!)

I had a really good time at the show. I had such a good time that I was actually considering going to the Nopi in New Jersey. Im probably gonna. I dont have any video of the Z doing the 8.1 pass as I only had my digital camera and it sucks at taking video so I didnt even bother.

Hey Taurran, the wheel gap isnt so bad in the rear. Bet you couldnt fit these in your Z, lol!

The only thing I really got was what you see in the first picture. Some crazy twin turbo setup, making a lot of horsepower. It really sucks actually, because I didnt really get to talk to those guys that much. I spoke with the other racing teams about their setups and learned a lot about how crazy the ecotec motor is, and got to talk and watch some tech, talk apart the head in his crazy turbo mustang. (It was called Hurricane Katrina, but was having troubles running all weekend. There was a rather large crack in his huge dp, and his tranny was messed up!)

When I go to New Jersey hopefully I will be able to talk to them, and see what they got. I cant wait.

That rear end in that z is deff not even close to stock.

How much power does that 8 sec Z have? Over 1500 hp?

ya, i really liked those too. The car was really clean all and all. It had 3 jl 10" subs in a custom box under the rear strut bar, and it was painted to match. Really nice car.
