yeah, my s**t is starting to break too. My back bugs me, my feet bug me after running, I have tinnitis like a mother, I have a hamstring issue I've been dealing with ever since I tore it in 1999 and my joints bug me too. I really need to go to medical to document it all but every time I go in the docs typically just try to give me motrin and send me on my way. I don't have that kind of time to waste typically so I just self-medicate. No offense to the corpsmen out there, it's mainly the docs I'm talking about. And I don't think it's entirely their fault either, the whole Tricare system is over extended and they don't have time to really consider your condition if you have one. That's a different thread all together though:-)

I can retire NOV07, so I plan to, that'll be 24 years at that point.

I completely agree. Vitamin M isn't that great of a broad spectrum drug. I have also been very frustrated with Tricare and the Navy's sick policy in general, ie you pretty much have to be dying to see a doctor or theyll just tell you to get an appt later. I hate that there is no more sick call where you can just go. Not to mention the astronomical waiting times even when you are 15 mins early...... but I think I'm preaching to the choir here. Gluck with your ailments kpiskin.

you can blame those wait times & lack of appointments on dependants & spouses. At the hospital up here we have an *** load of people deployed @ it was PCS season. some of the nurses/Dr's are working 60+ hours to deal w/ the work load.

i just get pissed kus there was an article in the base paper up here where some dependant wife was *****ing about wait times. im gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say she doesnt work and has 2 or more kids.
