C-West Thread
^^ Your Yellow Z looks hot!! I would have loved to see a little flash of the Carbon fiber on the side skirts and rear addons...I left a little bit of CF to see on my cwest rears....That would have played off nicely on the yellow...
Its still my favorite yellow Z though!!

How was fitment of the hood though? Fiberglass? Also, how much less does it weigh compared to the stock hood?
Thanks for the compliments. I cant wait to test the stuff and see how it cools my car down faster at the track because prior to this, my car was running pretty hot with the stock stuff.
the hood is PFRP. and its very light. It is scary light actually since it is flexible (PFRP). If you have the Motordyne 5/16" spacer and the stock strut bar, it will not clear it because of the upper vent on the center. I still have to find thinner spacers, otherwise it is 8/10 (symmetrical gaps). I would rate some of Seibon's hood fitment as 3/10 (asymmetrical gaps on the sides).

Mine is being fitted now (hood). I do have the MD spacer and stock strut bar. I was told that a little dremmeling might be needed for the front center vent. I am hoping to keep the spacer but I was wondering how tight it will be. Did you end up removing the MD spacer to make it fit or what?

I hope my front clip doesnt end up like Mike's. The CWest seems like it can rip really easily
Hopefully I get more track days in. I may have to just stay away from dirty circuit tracks such as the Streets of Willow

Sorry I didnt make my post clear. No I didnt remove the MD spacer. What I meant by spacer, I meant washers.. like for the bolts for the strut bar. Just need to use thinner spacers/washers for the bolts. Not a plenum spacer.
