Awesome job. What kind of tires are you running? I plan on keeping my wheels stock and going ***** out on the motor as well.

Thanks, and that was during Nopi weekend at the Atlanta Motorspeedway so I guess for lunch most of the Georgia Highway Patrol went to this local BBQ place...

Which meant there was no room for us... So that is when that picture was taken.

Thought about it, though the "Sleeper" look was not what I was originally planning... And with the gauge pod, kinda gives it away I guess to most.

Though keeping the "Sleeper" look would save me money, and more available funds for under the hood

Thanks, the tires are stock... Yep OEM, got two new fronts from Nissan for the Tire Feathering and got two new rears... So when all four wear out I will get something different I think.

Im a sucker for sleepers, definitely going to catch some people by surprise who come up from behind you on the freeway.

My only issue with stock wheels on the Z is the width... you need more traction! Great car.

Your right, more width would be great... But I guess to keep the "Sleeper" look I have to stick with the OEM's lol.

Yeah that is def. how I used to feel when I was younger... So that is why it is strange now that I like alot of body kits and wings on the Z's here

Thanks everyone for their reply's!

You could pick up a set of the track model wheels... i believe they are at least a 1/2 inch wider front and back or you could get some non-OEM wheels that are subtle... 17 or 18 x 9's in plain silver or black ... no chrome. FN01R-C 's are nice... or some rotas. They arent too expensive either. Any of those options with some nice rubber would make a world of difference in traction, handling, etc.

As mentioned before, awesome sleeper!!! That's gotta feel great to have all that power without many knowing about the surprise that beast has!! +1 on the track wheels. If you want to go a little aftermarket, maybe Volk TE, CE, or even Nismo's LMGT4 wheels. Those would look good...

Take care

Coming from Honda I am very familiar with Rota's, and I will def. start looking into the Track Rims... I like that idea

LOL yeah, right now I like some of the Gram Lights... But for a cheaper and stock looking the Track Rims are a good idea.

Thanks ya'll for that idea.

Yeah, and that was originally silver... He painted it red himself and the roof black... He gutted the interior and is swapped (Acura RSX Type-S Motor in it).

The only thing I would change is the single exhaust, duals look a lot better on the Z.

So how many miles have you put on your TN Kit? any "hiccups"? ... If I ever go F/I I'm looking into a similar setup and keeping the boost low as well. Although it won't be my daily driver.

I like the single myself, wish there were more single exhaust body kits out there.

Also weight and cost was the reason I went single over dual.

Oh man a bunch, def. over 15K miles. There were issues at first, but they were because of the shop who installed the kit... Had to back track and fix stuff... Oh I did have some ECU issues but then again that most likely was again a result by the place who first installed the kit, they didn't follow the directions Turbonetics provided and didn't do some things like the fuel pump modification which most likely resulted in my going super rich at 5K RPM's but all of that is good now.

I suggest the Turbonetics Tuner Kit, and then pick up the fuel pump/injectors/EMS of your choice.

You should cut out your stock rear bumper... I know some people have cut across the top of the two cut outs where the stock duals are and made one big open back end.... not sure if I am describing it well, but you can probably search for pictures of what I am talking about on here. It looks pretty cool. I believe someone with a white Z had a good picture of it from the back.

Found it, this is what I am talking about. That would look great with some stock mud guards, nismo, or top secret rears...

Thanks for the feed back ... you're one of the few F/I guys that isn't pushing the stock engine (in other words pushing their luck). Seems every stock engine that has blown was when people were getting near 400+ hp. 320-350 to the wheels is plenty for me. I'm guessing you didn't raise the REV limiter.

Whew a whole bunch, kinda lost track... Esp. with un-expected issues that costed me more to get right or replaced.

Not including tuning/labor, parts pretty much alone over 10K. Though spending the money over like a two year span doesn't make it seem as bad until you run the numbers and start finding the receipts

Hey that does look pretty good, I guess on a good weather weekend... I will grab my Dremel and try to do the same thing

Yeah, well not anymore (pushing the stock motor)... Maybe one day in the near future, but not right now

And yes 320-350 WHP is def. more than enough.

Oh and yes the rev limit was increased via the Technosquare Re-Flash (I thought back before the Greddy Emanage Ultimate that would have helped with my rich issue). Though I don't rev that high (well unless at the drag strip).
