Yes u do...if u dont have temp tags u cant take it out of the lot....and police will pull u over left and right
I was thinking the same when I moved to Cali but it's different here. No temp tags, just ride around with the dealer paper plates till the tags come in the mail.
Back on topic..... sad to see a new Z in that shape. At least the tail lights look intact.

I think he was speeding down the road, whacked the now-bent pole, the impact with the pole twisted the car around, and he 'skated' along the curb backwards until he was stopped by the second pole...
Too bad...for the car. Idiots like that should just walk...
I'm from san diego and my friend works for the trolley and he said the guy just bought the car that day and he was showing off to his son and he was taking the corner doing 85 and lost control. thats the man and his son in the picture. they had to stop the trolley for a couple hours to repair the pole. How can you do that with your son in the car! IDIOT!
Carrera GT into pole...what are these people thinking?
This was right near where I live. He(body shop) was driving it back to the dealers in Greenwich Ct even though it was privately owned. Why you wouldn't be flatbedding a $500,000 car I'll never know? What an a-hole.
