Default Door Gaurd!!! Pics!

I know most of you will appreciate this. Sick and tired of telling my mom to stop parking so close to my car in the garage because I dont trust her to not hit my door, I came up with this solution! A guitar stand= no more worrying about a women that doesnt respect a nice car!! NOW...if I can only take this with me to the store...

Thumbs up One of the...

most creative and interesting attempts I have seen. I say patent, produce, package, price and sell it...

Looks like you might have 8 smaller dings instead of just one. But I could be wrong.

Ya, in the pic, it looks like a torture device, but trust me on this, the padding (which is made of a material that absolutely wont scratch the paint) has an overhang of about 1". and if that 1" gets pushed in, the actual posts that the padding is attatched to, has a rubber tip on it! hahah.

I was going to buld a "L" shaped wooden thing, to do this job, but then I found this guitar stand and liked the padding factor it has.

good damn point! however, when I parked on the opposite side, she would park so close that I couldnt get out of my car without resting my door on hers. Freaking women

Be a man and move out to your own place. Solve two problems with one fell swoop.

Yeah, I know, the current generation does not see this as a solution. More's the pity.

That is some pretty creative stuff. I agree with the parking on the other side thing, but my mom would just park too close to me too, and I would have to rest my door on her car. Either way its no good, so the door protector is cool!

.
I did have my own place, but my parents just split and mom needs my help to pay the rent or she will be homeless, so I moved back in.

Oops,....opening mouth to insert other foot.

I fully and humbly retract my earlier assumption and comment. You have my respect and renew my faith in the younger generation. Good on, ya!! (as I retreat behind my humiliation...)
