if you keep your car out in the sun, i highly recommend UV clear coating the wing prior to or shortly after installing the base.


my Evo X's Type 5 started to yellow, and i had to wet sand and smoke color + UV coat the wing to get it back to a a normal looking carbon...

 

It probably won't see a lot of time outdoors as it isn't daily driven. Is it just standard UV resistant urethane for clear coats?
