not that im hating on ur car but can people please tell me what the fasination is with the o6 headlights and tails i personally think they are ugly especially the headlights the o3-o5 are far superior imho

 

please explain the decklid comment, im not following.

Better illumination to the road in the dark, so as far as the pre 06 lights being superior to the 06 lights illumination is not true. However the pre 06 lights do look a little more clean by comparison

 

06 headlights are true projectors, better light output, cut-off line, luxury look.
06 LED tails also have better light output, unique lighting that filament bulbs cannot produce.
both are just more up-to-date, and follow the current automobile lighting trends.

thats the reason why i prefer them to pre 2006 lamps. my 2 cents. but many people feel that the 2006 lights are not as nice as the original, and i respect that too. the pre-2006 headlamps have much more "mod" potential also.

 

actually havent waxed her in a while. probably do it this weekend.

i got that Mr. Clean auto dry car wash stuff for x-mas, so i just tried it out today and took pics. works pretty good. dried like 90% of the car. i wouldnt use it as an every-time car wash though.

 

yah, i like the 4 led's on the 06's opposed to the illuminated strip on pre-06.

 

The 03-05 headlights/tailights are not nearly as nice as the 06 led lights. The 06 lights make the car look so much cleaner..... so much cleaner. I would go to the extent and say that the 03-05 lights are actually kind of ugly.

thats llike saying the 2002 Z headlights are sexier then the 2006... thats horrible!!

 

So im guessing your going to re-do the interior, then it would be an 06 conversion, hey maybe the engine too?

new bumper painted $800, 06 headlights $1200, 06 tail lights $400 = $2400.

 

that sounds cheap for the headlight swap for a 03 to 06
