Like said above it was prob. to get the car back on the road. Not everyone who owns a Z is king mighty millionaire. They would have bought the G. I hate the comments that pertain to money and mods, choice of car and what not. STFU 
And he prob. parked it out far b/c he doesn't want door dings on the white part.
