Tech, awesome ride brah. If you have $$$ to drop on a new lens, get one with Image Stabalizer. It is an f'n dream. Just got the 28-135 IS... your car deserves better pics man. Seriously.
Here's a tip that'll make your photography at least a little better.
The stock lens is pretty good also. If it's sunny, use ISO 100 or ISO 200. Set the camera to Aperture Priority (Av) mode, and set the Aperture to f6.3 as a maximum to f8 as a minimum. These aperture settings guarantee you get a sharp pic without too much noise... barring you don't have camera shake when pressing the shutter button.
If you have shaky hands, just go down to the nearest Best Buy, Comp USA, or Circuit City and buy a cheapo tripod.
For the stock 18-55, try using the longest focal length (55mm) unless you have to go shorter because of space, or if you want to exaggerate that distortion like you have in the fish eye lens. Going the longer length flattens out your car, and pulls in the background.

hey tech
do you think it would be hard for a body shop to paint over my mouth area in black like yours ? wouldnt it be hard to line it out perfectly over the silver?
im getting the carbon canards in 2 weeks and i think along with the blacked out look it would really give my car a more aggressive look
