Default 350 is no match for dirt driveway

A Z is not match for a dirt driveway after the snow has started to melt. It took me almost 5 minutes to back into my driveway. Good thing I cleaned the car yesterday.

Cut cardboard boxes into plates and lay them across.
Or take many, many coats and lay them across

I rent where I live. I wish they would put some of that stone down. Put then plowing is a real big hassle.

When I was in college, I rented a house, where the only place to park was in the back yard Even after showing my landlord how bad all the mud was when the ground thawed, he still refused to lay down any gravel for us to park on...it finally took a call to the town's building inspector and a brief showing of what our cars were doing to the muddy yard for my landlord to dump a $200 pile of gravel.

I don't know what was worse. The driveway or trying to get out of the orignal parking spot.

The gravel shown in the above thread is better in the ice & snow than pavement. It drains water so it won't ice up and gives better traction in the snow. After it packs down it is fine in the summer on slopes, but not if it hasn't packed. Best to get unwashed gravel so it packs better.
