New pics of my car w/C-West Hood
I've done a good job of keeping the car under wraps...once its done, we'll snap some good pics here, as one of my sales guys is a budding photographer. I mixed some existing parts with new ones, and when it all comes together, I'm hoping it looks as good as it does in my head lolol

I love the hood.
I have the same one, it looks weird for me witht that raised area on the driver's side since I have a different intake, but oh well.
any new pics of this car now I noticed that this is an old thread.

I had already posted my pics....but my hood is not a std. out of the box C West, it's been heavily modded
I'll try to find them...they are posted on here someplace
edit found them - sorry they are low quality. Right now the hood is off for the winter and having some work done on it, but we'll get some good high res shots once it warms up in a couple months

I didn't take any underhood shots yet, but I will once it's back on the car
Basically I don't like the big side vents the C West comes with, so we cut them out and I filled them in completely. Royal pain to do but I love how it came out. We also completely smoothed the underside of the hood and painted it as well, so it's just as glossy underside as it is on the top side, and used a nice aluminum heatshield material on the underhood section as well. Even with the added fiberglass and filler, it still weighed in 4 lbs less than the stock hood

total time we spent to repaint my car, including the hood, was about 130 hours or so. Keep in mind this is no body work, no repairs, no fixing dents...just repainting the entire car to ensure uniform color match (the silverstone has proven damn near impossible to match since we don't have a tinting bank, and I figured we mind as well do it right)
here are some pics after the filling in of the vents was completed. We also got it to work with the stock engine cover (usually you would have to delete) by shaving down the underside of the center scoop.

and here are some shots I just snapped quickly. It's off the car now since there are a couple spots that didn't sand down as nicely as I wanted, that we only noticed after we sprayed it. So, we'll be reblocking the whole thing and painting it again soon.

the mesh is something else I decided to add in, to help make it look more "factory appearing"...I didn't want open holes, just didn't look clean enogh to me. We used the same type of mesh in my front bumper as well, even on the small little side vents (the hood and side vents were a pain to do nicely, but they came out really well in the end...took alot of patience to get them cut and centered and sealed in
