Default LS Z w/ Nismo lip and Varis intake duct

Since my bumper got owned by the piece of metal 2 weeks ago, I figured I'd change things up. Got the new one put on today w/ the Nismo V1 lip and Varis intake duct.

Unfortunately it got a tiny chip on it leaving the body shop so it's gotta go back and get touched up. Very pleased with the looks though. More pics to follow later...

shauny likey! Do you think the Varius duct makes a diff? Just thinking about the laws of physics and wind and what not, it seems like it wouldn't really matter at high speeds, but be more useful at lower speeds...thoughs?

It turns heads if that counts I really don't think it does anything, more for looks.

I got it from a friend. I think some of the vendors on here may sell them, or you can check eBay for some replicas for about $80 or so.

Edit: Just saw this...$170 shipped for Varis.

Yeah, that's the kinda luck I have. Leave the body shop w/ freshly painted bumper, get a chip. It's all good though, he's touching it up for me Monday.

If you have a nismo CAI, care to guess what the duct is doing for you?

answer: absolutely nothing, the filter is in a completely different location lol.

The duct does next to nothing regardless of what type of intake you are running. It's mainly cosmetic, results from it are minimal, if any.

No problems yet. I park my Z outside and it's my DD so it's seen plenty of rain. From what I can tell it doesn't let hardly any water in.
