if u want a quick powerful truck def go with it...its rated 1/4 mile time is the low 14s thats pretty sick for a truck but we got the fully loaded SS with nav and dvd entertainment with wireless headphones...very cool truck indeed and a lot can be done to this engine

I am considering these but I was also looking at the Jeep SRT8. those thing are a beast and larger, but they drink a hell lot of gas.

yea but the str8 is more $$$ then the SS and u cant tow anything with the srt8...even though i dont plan on towing with the SS but just personal preference

put some nitrous in her and she will run 12s all day long. saw 3 of them the last time i was at the track and none of them ran above a 13.0 (all on nitrous of course)

thanks man...just hard to try and find some goodies for it...i can find all engine stuff etc but appearance mods are harder to come around...i wana convert to HIDs for heads and fogs

Is that your Z in the background with the goofy wing, weird tail lights and stock wheels? The SS looks badass, just don't put a goofy wing and clear tail lights on it.
