Hey Jeremy, Have you tried the larger MAF and piping mod on your N/A beast? I thought of getting a fab shop in the area to make a 3"(i believe thats the stock TB size, forget the actual size. It was months ago) from TB with a plate that matches up to the stock airbox. Provisions for the maf and just tune with utec...
Any thoughts?
Also i do know about the limitations to the stock plenum and neck..

Nice car man.. Yeah, I think I would get suckered into a run against that and thus lose. I usually kill most of the 350z's around here unless they have TT'd. At this altituted the NA's usually lose too much performance compared to the forced induction versions (Denver area) although with the NO2 you regain that by adding the O2 directly. My speed car is the same as well, looks completely stock on the outside and not much visible under the hood for most people as I kept the enigne covers on (took some work). It's not always easy adding power and keeping things looking stock. Anyway, grats to the shop on a job well done and grats to you as well for such a clean looking beast.

relax man...when someobody that isnt a well known around here posts that kind of thing without giving ANY other info obviously people are going to be skeptical. Dont take it as a personal insult. Why post numbers like that and then not give any more info? The guy was obviously looking for that kind of reaction.
That is awesome, great work jeremy!
I love sleepers, that car would rule the streets in the nati.
I am running the drop-n K&N as well, Ive had the best luck with it on any one of my modded cars.

Sleeper:
"A sleeper car is primarily an automobile which has been souped up, which is to say had its performance increased in the form of added horsepower/torque, in such a way that the performance is not obvious. This is the opposite of a rice rocket or rice burner (rice rocket originally applied only to motorcycles) which is a car which has been dressed up to look like it is faster than it really is. Alternately, it can be a powerful version of a car which has been dressed down such that it looks like a slower version of the same vehicle, for example a Ford Mustang GT dressed down to look like the V6 model, or a Chevrolet Camaro Z28, SS, or IROC rebadged as the RS. It can also refer to a car which is a good performer, and mechanically sound, but outside appears as a beater, which is to say too damaged to perform well.
Besides people led by the imp of the perverse, sleepers tend to be driven by men and women who have escaped their twenties who prefer not to be pulled over by the law frequently but still want to drive a fast car. There is a sense of satisfaction in "blowing away" (not literally, nor in the sense of firearms) the person sitting next to you who thinks their car can beat yours because it makes you look like a soccer mom. This is the kind of car where when people talk about it they say things like "that car doesn't look like much but every time it goes by the walls shake."1
A sleeper is quiet when it's "sleeping", since cars don't snore, but you can typically tell the difference when it's started and gives off its roar. Of course, even most modern performance vehicles are not very loud at idle because the average displacement of the modern engine is much lower than what it used to be 20 or 30 years ago"
I still get don't how this worthless thread got into 3 pages long. There's nothing to really look at. I see a lot of other people's threads of various visual mods that hardly been looked at or given the props they deserve. A Z is a sports car and even considering it as a sleeper is ridiculous. So, if you add NOS to a stock looking Viper, would that be considered a "sleeper" as well?

Bro, first of all, dont be an ***.
The man wanted to share what he has done to his Z like everyone here has the right to do. Just because YOU do not like it, does not mean other people dont. I respect the fact that in any given day i could pull up to him thinking im faster because of his stock exterior and get smoked. if all you have done to your Z are suspension mods, you would share the same fate. Yes its a sleeper in the Z community and YES its a sleeper in our price range sport cars. We are all enthusiasts, just give him his props......
here is a video for everyone. this is in jksstar car (150 shot) against my single turbo. the last pull is the only good one. THIS CAR IS A SLEEPER...

Black06z - A lot more people on these boards are more into performance rather than huge body kits and no motor work. The Z is a car meant to be driven and and built to preform. He just upped the anny on this one.
Very nice car. I think I might do the whole N2O thing. I have had very safe and good results in the past, but I don't drag, i do road course so I guess I really can't go N2O. CRAPPY.....
