Default hotchkis tvs stage 1 on!

After a close call and a friend saving my *** by picking up a spring compressor for me and many busted knuckles later the springs/sways are finally on:

Overall I like the drop, it's low but not too low. Haven't driven it yet, but will be in the next 30 minutes. I have the front sway on hard and the rear on medium, after I drive it around a while I may adjust the sways, we'll see how it handles.

Next up ss lines, rotors and pads on Tuesday. Then who knows maybe turbo?

It'll be a week or 2 before you see the full drop, after the springs have a chance to compress fully.

Enjoy!

Just got back, wow is all I can say. It feels like a whole new car, roll has been dramatically reduced, steering response has gotten a lot better, and the ride seems smoother than stock.

Got them from Kyle(Houston) on the board (import parts pro). I may have to get the car aligned before zdayz and the springs settle. Today I was driving and noticed to drive straight I had to have the steering wheel cocked to the left a little and the car felt a little loose, probably from too much toe. I'm probably going to make an appointment and take it in Wednesday so I give it time to settle at least a little bit.

Have a creak in the front when the suspension goes under load (going up curb on the driveway) or over speed bumps. I'm going to look into it when the wheels are off tomorrow and I do my rotors/pads/lines.

Grats on the Kit, I have it too and it handles awesome.

The off center steering thing happened to me too. Just take it back and they will fix it for you. They forgot to do something during the alignment. I forgot what you call it.

Another thing, does it feel like the rear less planted in mid corner bumps? I only had my stock suspension for a couple weeks and forgot if stock does it.

Alignment is wednesday so it will be taken care of then. As for the less planted rear with bumps mid turn, what do you your bars set at? The stiffer you have the rear bar the more prone it is to "hop" with bumps mid turn. That's part of the reason I have mine on medium so I can get a feel for how it handles in turns with unexpected bumps. The last thing I want is to have it on hard hit a bump and have the tail swing out or squirm on me at speed.
