maybe im getting old but does it appear that the bumper is a lil off? cause typically with that kind of paint you have to blend it in with the fenders and hood to match but it seems they just pulled off your bumper, paint matched, and reinstalled. sorry to be a picky bum.

it all depends on the lighting. I've even seen brand new nissans at the dealer and the body seams a different shade than the bumper depending lighting due to how it bonds to the urethane compared to the rest of the car.

needs a full kit now. So how low to the ground are you with that lip on now? It's a shame that there aren't any quality fitting lips for 06+ yet.

You don't have to do anything like that with the H&R spacers. Just put them on, they have "new" studs as part of the spacer.

25mm imo brings the stockers out perfectly. The car looks good, but grab some side skirts to run with that lip you have there.

It looks awesome. I think I want to get them too, but I have some questions
  • How much do spacers cost? (5065662 NISSAN 350Z 25mm DRM 66.2 5/114.3 12x1.25 $134.95 @ mynismo.com) but is that each or for all 4?
  • Besides the difference in looks, can you feel the difference in the drive as well?
  • Can I install the spacers by myself at home using a jack, one at a time?

Also, I don't track my car or anything yet but plan on taking it out sometime in the near future. What exactly do "Coilover/Shock & Spring Kits" do?

Cambo350z, I would like to apologize if it seems like I am hijacking your thread.

Thanks

Looks real nice, much more aggresive. I have thought about putting 20mm front and 25mm on my Z. Might just be the next thing I do.

+1 on completing the kit.

I know this is kinda off the subject but the stock bridgestones with tire shine on them look good. I just put a set of Michilen PS2 and have yet to put tire shine on them waiting for sticky from stickers to wear off. I hope they look as good as the REO40's do.

BTW Nice Z

When painting a car. Even if it everything is painted at the same time with the same paint. Plastic will always look a lil different then Metal.

From the price that looks like it's for a pair, not four. My spacers came in pairs. I suggest H&R brand, some other people like others, but mine worked out flawlessly.

You can install them yourself (assuming they install like mine). Get a jack, take the wheel off, put spacer on, tighten nuts, put wheel on new spacer studs, tighten nuts. Repeat times four.

I personally cannot feel a difference in the handling. You aren't talking about that much extra width in comparison with the overall width of the car. This isn't a performance mod.

Those are only for 2.They are sold as a pair not all 4 wheels. If I were you I would get the eibachs 25mm in back and 20mm up front (90.4.20.003.4 NISSAN 350Z 20mm 4 66.1 12x1.25/14.3 5x114.3 $134.40
90.4.25.019.4 NISSAN 350Z 25mm 4 66.1 12x1.25/14.3 5x114.3 $137.20
from mynismo.com) The "4" designates the way they are put on..they don't need new longer studs, just a simple bolt on with new studs attached. if you click on the "more info tab" it will show you the different types and how they attach. The reason why I went H&R 25mm rear is this...I first ordered H&R 25mm rear and 20mm front but found out that only the 25mm spacers had studs attached and the 20mm spacers you have to replace the studs so I changed my order to eibach's since the 20mm type4 size you didn't have to replace the studs. If I knew this all from the beginning I would of just ordered the eibachs.

My neigbor helped me put them on cause he had air tools and a torque rench. I recommend torquing them..forgot the number..maybe somone on this board can answer that..ride quality is not much different..maybe handles 5% better. thanks for all the compliments..I want to get a complete kit..just don't have the money for it now..had some personal things come up that drained my bank account one was for getting pulled over for street racing and had to get a lawyer and everything and after everything was done..2K down the drain but had it down to a reckless driving but with no points on my license.

Wow....thanks for all that info. What do you mean by "torquing" Do you tihnk it would be expensive to get these put on if I don't have the tools for torquing?

If you can change a tire you can put on these spacers.
