Default Finally!!! Got some stuff! (Full INGS LX, Tein, Quaiffe, K&N, Greddy, Work 20" VSXX)

I've been waiting months! BUt finally I've got 80% of everything. WHen the ride is finished I'll be posting plenty pics. That won't be for a couple weeks though.

(pics of rims on page 2)

INGS+1 LX - Fenders (have the little silver peice, but didn't take pic)

INGS+1 LX - Side skirts

INGS+1 LX - Spoiler

INGS+1 LX - Rear lip w/crack!

Damaged section

INGS+1 LX - Front lip

K&N Typhoon Intake sytem

TEIN Coilovers

Greddy EVOTT

QUAIFFE LSD

Waiting on the 20" Work VSXX, Asuka CF Bonnet, and some little odds and ends.
I got back the 06 Headlights from MR. ZIPPS, but I dropped them off to the garage already.
Have the ice sitting down waiting for the car to be ready as well.

I've been waiting so long for this project to be finished I can hardly beleive I'm nearly there.

This is a photochopped pic of a 350z I saw on here (with the 20" vsxx)... If mine will anything as good as this, I'll be happy. LOL.

Have a couple questions about the project that I wouldn't mind hearing some opinionz.

1) Should I install the side markers in the fenders? If so, should I still put the 'Z' badge on, or leave it off in case it crowds the fenders. Should I buy the small 'INGS+1' badges and put there instead of the 'Z' badge?

2) Should I paint the rear lip with a flat black in the centre (between the exhaust)?

3) Should I paint the CF hood body colour, leave it CF, or... paint it and leave some fading to CF just inside the vents?

4) The INGS kit seems a bit weak. SHould I reenforce it with some fibre glass just in the areas that might crack if rubbed? Do people experience a lot of cracking with their authentic INGS lip kits?

Thanks. I hoping for the best. I'm sort of regretting buying 20's, but it's way too late seeing as their on the boat. Maybe It'll be okay, but I have a feeling their goin to look way too big for my taste. I should've listened to myself, but everyone was telling me to go 20's and pimp it out. Whatever. If they really suck, I'll paint them black and see if that helps first, after which I'll get something else down the road.

Lol!

actually, no tax returns here in jamaica. Third world countries always get screwed.
Wanna guess what the duty on a 3 litre car is? try 190%. Lol! Basically had to buy the car, then pay for it nearly two times over, THEN ship it's a$$ over here. Yea, I've been takin it without ANY vaseline for a while now. NOt very nice!

But with only about 3-5 Z's on the island, it's worth it to have a cool ride.

This is gonna sound very stupid, but hear me out.

Does anyone know if people 'shave' their radio antenna?
Because I never listen to radio. I'm always listening to a CD, or now that I have Sirius, i'll be using that. Soooo, instead of having that annoying thing poking out the back, I was thinking of taking it out, plugging the hole and make the panel look clean without it.

I'm already painting and doing some minor body work on the car, so it won't cost me anything really.

I had my body shop recess the "Z" into the fender, and went with a different (black) vent grill -- I like the results:

I'm not too fond of the Euro/JDM side marker lights.

That looks good, but I have the newer version with the little silver peice that runs through it. So, I'm worried that the fender will look a little too crowded with that silver line, the Z logo, and the indicator light (whether or not I go with it).

Plus because of the line that goes along the top of the vent and meets the line in the door, if i put the Z in it's original place, it'll be too close to the line.

Well at least you know frst hand how easily those body pieces are damaged. I really don't like the rear 'lip' thing.
The car you pictured does not look good at all to me.

Do you have the base model Z? Just asking because of the quaife....

Looks like it will turn out real nice! I would paint the center section on the front and rear lip black. Shave the antenna if you never use it.
