Due to an unfortunate incident this morning I had to buy a floor jack. Until now I always went to my friends house when I needed to lift my car for anything since I didn't have one. I was on my way home from work and started to notice a slight knocking sound from the rear left wheel so I thought maybe my coilover blew or something. The knocking started to get louder and I could feel the wheel wobbling so I immediately pulled over and noticed that my wheel spacer was coming lose. I was less than a mile from home but was too scared to drive it home with the wheel lose. So since I didn't have a jack, I called my mom to come pick me up so I can take her car to go buy a jack. And that's how my morning went
Coulda been a lot worse brosef. And now you dont have to be "that guy" who borrows everyones tools lol. Use some locktite this time and make sure its tq'ed right!
That sucks calin, when was the last time you checked your lugs/tq?
Well I had a shop install my wheel spacers on friday. I'm guessing they didn't torque them down well enough. I'm going to buy some loctite tomorrow to make sure that doesn't happen again.

Just tq them down to 80 ft/lbs, Drive around a block after your torque down, and tq down again. Hope you have a good torque wrench. loctite is unnecessary. Check your lugs monthly or so which I normally do anyways regardless of spacers or not.

Thanks! I was kinda busy yesterday so I only torqued them down once to 80 ft/lbs once. But tomorrow I'm going to torque down all 4 corners just to make sure everything is on tight.
Waiz, I would have cried too dude....lol. I almost crapped myself when I looked in my side mirror and could see my wheel wobbling. I pulled over right away and called my mom to pick me up.
