One delay after another. I called the fabricator and was told another 1-2 months until I can drop off So I am taking this time to iron out some things I want to do and get ready for when the car comes back.

 

All these goodies came in last week... Got them installed on Friday after a MONTH of her being on stands...

I just did the spring mount mod last night trying to close the gap on the rear.

I'm kicking the color scheme around as well as some spacers for the rear. I'm thinking 15-20mm. I'm lowered on Tanabe GF210s so I don't have any option to lower it, so I'm thinking spacers will deceive the eye...

I'm also working out homemade center caps.... they should be put together next weekend/monday. ---Hopefully

^^^ why no 285/35 in the rear to close the gap?

Mine is sitting on stands as well awaiting wheels so I took the opportunity to wax it, change the rear diff bushing (with help from 2bad240), readjust my G35 mud guards, change the spark plugs and adjust my sway bars. Still trying to find other things to do since it's up in the air...maybe new exhaust.

 

Advan- I wanted to rock a square setup and didnt want to have toooo negative of camber up front.

I wish I did some stuff while she was up. She just got neglected.

 

I've had a square setup for about a year. Wish I would have stayed staggered. I think a 265/35 - 285/35 would have looked nice there or a 255/40 - 275/40.

Finally got my titanium shift **** and extension from Chris at WC Lathe werks.

 

I'm going to pick up a set of 06 headlights in about 3 hours for $100. Picks of either the headlights when I get them or pics of my disappointed face when it turns out to be a scam. Though I'm going with not a scam considering we're meeting face to face and it would be a tiny market to attempt to scam 03-05 Z owners.

EDIT: was not a scam, dude pulled up with some ebay headlights on his Z. He had no clue that he was selling headlights worth 4 times what his "new" ones were worth. Gave him $100 after looking them over and we went our seperate ways. Need to restore the clear housing, but other than that I just need to do all the fun mods and install them.

 

Got some body parts yesterday! woot woot! only took 6 months to get, but worth the wait for sure...
