While on the topic of semi-related-to-Zs-in-that-it-features-a-car, we were down in Carmel, CA at my favorite shirt store to buy groomsmen gifts and I stumbled upon this shirt but refused to buy due to the *ridiculous* price....



It's another Robert Graham limited edition "car shirt" (of which I own three already but none had the ridiculous price tag this one did). He/his company is involved in cars - particularly race cars, he having been a pit engineer for an Indy team at some point before designing shirts.



This is the newest shirt commemorating his principle sponsorship of Townsend Bell's Indy 2015 car which is a semi-duplicate (sans some sponsor logos) of Townsend's actual Sparco driving suit including simulated quilting and front zipper (faux) below collar.





You know, the suit T-Bell was wearing when he crashed out....

Oooooops.

PS So why is it on our bed? Wife (well, almost...finally making it official next month) and best friend went "shopping" at some other store but met me at the coffee shop with my new shirt! Yeah, I was mad at her....

...but not for long. And by the way, it will not be worn.... it's going into an in-wall shadow box - displayable from two rooms.

I put an order for what could possibly be the last set of ce28rt. From what i been told, the rigid tune burning red edition are being discontinued. I was trying to get the te37RT in 18x9.5+22 but those are discontinued. And soon the 18×10 will be too.

Contacted over 10 online vendors and NO ONE had any in stock. This should be a nice edition to my te37sl double pressed black and my 57fxx. Cant wait

 

Look great! Where can I get these? Been searching and no luck... I cannot find the CF version

I bought a set from Daytona Racing Japan about a month ago. Not sure if he speaks english, I did a small group buy with another guy who speaks Japanese and he set the whole thing up. You can also buy them from RHDJapan, which I've always had great service from.

I got them from rhdjapan.com. It was about a 5 month wait for them, but I've got a bunch of difficult parts to find from them. Definitely recommend them
