My friend recently bought himself a canon 5D mk2 and it is amaaaazing. I wish I could afford to buy myself a nice SLR and some lenses... I'd like to get into photography...but it can easily be more expensive than my car hobby!
aloh - I would agree...photography is a very expensive hobby. It took me a full year, switching through 3 cameras before I finally think I am capable enough to switch to a "pro" camera.
Status Harnesses and 4-point roll cage with X-brace...Status is top notch, from the box to the harnesses it self,, I was amazed. Just got my 4-point back from paint and I love it... Pearl white with gold flakes,,, for the FTMFW
^ I'm pretty sure its a Kirk racing 4 point roll bar with optional X brace. Nice piece! I emailed them about it and they told me its $400 for the bar alone, and $95 extra for the x brace.
Alvin, you should come to Houston and try that camera out on my car.... Just trying to be helpful
Royal, NICE!!!!!! Shame I'm not going to HIN Dallas. I'd love to see it in person. Mind if I ask where you got the Status Harness?
Man wish you were going to be at HIN Dallas, its all good i know we will run into each other sooner or later.
Got the Status Harnesses from Vivid Racing,, they are made to order...

You are correct sir. It is a Kirk racing 4 pint cage with X brace in the back. They do a pretty damn good job, they are made to order so you have to wait like 3 weeks. I'll have install pics later tomorrow.

Awesome! I cant wait to see it installed. Im debating whether or not I'm gonna go with the kirk 4 point or just get a harness bar. Im a little worried about the "cabin friendliness" of the 4 point. Im somewhat concerned about the room it takes in the cabin, particularly around the passenger seat and main hoop. As long as the main hoop is far enough from the area where my head would be (in case a rollover would happen so i woudlnt get smushed by the bar) ...I'd consider buying the kirk roll bar. Also...a view of the rear visibilty with the xbrace would be much appreciated!
