The delivery of the wheels is somewhat up in the air at the moment. Like I said in the previous post, my shop is p*ssed and might get another set, so hopefully we're looking at 3 to 4 weeks because they have to be custom made.
Vortech sponsored the car, so I will be runnig the Vortech with a 3.12 pulley, 440cc injectors, Wahlbro 255lph fuel pump, CJ fuel return system and UTEC. I feel kind of weird about having it in my signature already, but that's part of the sponsorship agreement.
Thanks for all the good comments BTW.

Unfortunately that is the impression that I had too. I was told one thing and another happened, although no one wants to take responsibility, my shop was pressured for payment(my shop didn't want to pay til the wheels shipped) and told the week of payment that the wheels were going to be shipped out to us, and then last week(about 5 weeks after payment) I get a call from the business that my shop went through to get the wheels, saying there's something wrong with the wheels. So the wheels are supposedly in Work's CA location, and there is something wrong with the rear wheels. My guess is that an individual or shop had to make a sales goal and now things went to sh*t.

I'm just letting my shop handle this and Robbie's(Driven1) friend who is proclaimed to be the offset/wheel king is going to help me out this weekend. He has a really good rep and hopefully we will go through him and get everything done in a timely manner w/o stories/excuses.

how was the quality of the mastergrade kit...from a fitment and material perspective?

It's always been my favorite widebody, and I can't wait to see it finished!

Not so much... Stock is like 50059820954X better looking than that. There's lines going everywhick way on that car, and it's filled with FG and bondo. That wont last long before it starts to crack and look even worse. If it's strictly a show car that will be trailered everywhere then great, but i prefer to drive my car.

Thanks man, the kit is good quality(fiberglass is very strong, probably added a hundred pounds or so, but my car before the kit weighed in at/around 3,165lbs with the spare&tools still in it), and from what I remember the shop had some issues with the sides/rear quarter panels, but then again molding anything as extensive as this is going to be a pain in the *ss and give you some issues.

I've driven the car too and from Jersey(for the promised Targa, which never happened) and the kit hasn't cracked or anything, and that was before it was painted/finished. At 135mph the car is much more stable than it was stock, and comparing stock to the kit is no contest(IMO) and a lot of people on the road old and young were giving me props/liking the car(before it was even painted). If you like stock better then that is your call, but the quality of the kit/install shouldn't be questioned as it's all very good.
As well the only FG(other than kit) or Bondo, used was in the molding process.

lol...I actually find that funny. Something more funny, is that your father said the same thing about your mother, the morning after you were conceived.
This week I'll go get some better pics.

Not feeling it. I didn't really like the orange one I saw last year either.

I like it! Can't wait to see the final product. Any thought on a wing? Are you going to get rid of that rod thing back there where the rear windshield wiper was?

If you want some help clearing out those headlights let me know, I did mine myself and they turned out really well. I can't promise I can paint them, but I can help you get the orange strip out/clear strip in.

Don't know what your plans are for that, but let me know, I will be back in a week or so.

Mike
