to those who say it looks like sh*t, that is their opinion that they are entitled to, no need to get your panties in a twist, but i guess you are because not everyone abosultely thinks you made a great decision.

then you say you talk "ish" to people who dont like your rims and in the very next sentence you completely contradict yourself in saying that you arent going to argue with them.... so what is it?

 

I can get colour matching a 'colour', but something neutral like Black, white, silver. Ehhhh, not doing anything for me. I agree, it just looks like those cheap wheels where they paint the lip to make it look silver.

Nuff props for going with what you want though. It's your ride, and that's all that matters.

B. Neg to OP for getting so defensive when people critics his wheels.

If they don't like it, fine, do what makes you feel better. You mod the car for yourself, not them. No reason calling them a**hole, etc.

 

I saw this while at work and thought, "Oh no..." but couldn't see the pics. Now I'm home and I think they look just fine. I'd like to see some better, high-res pics, but I think it looks good; and definitely unique. Polished lips are the hotness for sure, but this looks pretty good to me!

 

I think you need to take better pics so the silver doesn't look like brake dust. I think this style has some potential.

I don't like it, but who cares as long as you do. The chrome lip makes the wheels stand out more.

never thought barker and DJK would get flamed on when I first joined in 2004 when they were still active...man it's funny how the (relative) newbies would flame them for their cars. Maybe in a year or so, people would be flaming me for my Z haha...

Anyways I really don't like the rims either, but no need to pound the guy to pulp. Maybe it looks better in person, which I will never see.

Can you explain what you mean about Barker and DJK getting flamed? I mean I know what flamed is but why shouldn't they get flamed if they are talking ish about somebodies car shouldn't there car be judged also?

Also I understand newbies term but what do you mean by relative newbie. Take me for instance, been on the forum since 2004 and this is my second Z, lots of body and electronics done to the car but no turbo (YET) so is that a relative newbie?
