So I see your front are 9.5 and your rears are 11... but do you have any spacers and what are the offsets ?

I had a 15mm spacer in the rear with 10.5 +22 and it stuck out way too far. But my car was not on coilovers so it wasent that low. Im thinking the spacers would work if I slammed the car more with the new coilovers.

Anyways your set-up looks absolutely amazing from the rear
Keep up the good work !

i love those wheels! i almost bought those, but i couldn't get them cuz they won't fit BBK rear. I ask for custom offeset and still would not work. all good, congrats!!

Why would they not work with a custom offset? When you order custom fit wheels, its all about the wheel disk to clear bbk's

they won't clear because of the flat spoke design.

Fronts are 19" x 10.5"

The more you lower, the more camber you get. But to be honest, too much camber may look a bit odd. I fit the wheels with some slight camber, it's the right offsets and right tire size selection and a even smooth fender roll that gets you happy wheel fitment.

Thanks!

Like urbantac said, it depends on what disk you choose. There is a disk that will clear BBK for the Work Equip if requested...but you'll lose a LOT of the lip with the taller hub...

give and take I guess

Thanks for the kind words, all!

Work Equips (1st Generation 1998 models) - Full Machine Polish Face and Barrel (Dunlop Direzza DZ101 - Very MODESTLY stretched!)

F: 19x10.5 +X 245/35R19
R: 19x11.0 +X 275/30R19

Total clearance, no rub, no squeek, no lip hitting, run over potholes with no issues whatever, daily driven from SF so SJ back to SF again 6 days a week! I've proven it works, if I get another set of wheels later, I know for a fact that I will fit 19x11 Fronts and 19x12 Rears without a whim. I have STANCE SUS coilovers and those rears clear the rear true-coilover setup and that slammed ride height (these sizes clear the spring collar that people worry about with the STANCE/Buddyclub Coilover setups)!

P.S. - Stretching tires FTW, say no to fanboys on forums - haha!

Pictures today (sorry for the poor quality, I was using a point-and-shoot camera):

FLAME ON!!!!

EDIT: some random point-n-shoot pics and wheel closeups per request (08/14/07)

NICE! What offsets are they? Did you drive at all with these on? I have a feeling that they might rub??

thanks!

just like the first post, there is no rub; I daily these 5 days a week around 80 miles a day and I drive them throught the city (San Francisco)--the locals know what I'm talking about haha...not the most well maintained roads in the world. I speed over freeway dips and bumps and holes, no issues, no bottoming out no bent lip, not metal on asphalt, smooth and clean un curbed lip. when the suspension compresses, you have to realize that your car naturally cambers in front and rear, as it cambers when compressing the wheels in fact clear the rolled fender. I have about 1-2mm of clearance, but that is all you need, the camber will not change with varying bumps, it will always remain at 1-2mm at 60mph to 100mph, makes no difference.

cars in japan have been doing this for the past 15-20 years; it's really nothing innovative IMO, thanks though!!!

Weren't we supposed to meet up on Sunday? HAHA OOPS!

My friend from Vertex called me yesterday and he was like, "So, what about that meeting we were supposed to have?" HAHA

Anyways, how is your toe right now, were you able to get that back into spec without any problems? How much camber are you running right now?

I met up with Mike last night to pickup a fender roller so I hope I can get the car done soooooon! Air is 100% done, no more leaks or anything. The rear camber arms are at the machine shop right now being tweaked so I hope it does the trick!
