Default Got an awesome detail last Sat!

Spent last Saturday with my friend Vic ... He's does detailing on the side so I got a full polish-sealant-hand wax done for my 4 y/o Z..

My car is garaged so the paint wasn't horrible but there were notcible swirls and some deep scratches after the wash and claybar.. Plus a can of fix-a-flat exploded on my car a couple of years ago that burned the clearcoat in a few places .. nasty stuff!!! To my surprise--Vic polished it all out!

BEFORE: I turned down the color and turned up the brightness in Photoshop to highlight the fine swirls on my paint (hard to photograph)

Vic goes to work!

AFTER: This picture was taken just after the polish and sealant phase...I turned down the color and upped the brightness in Photoshop again in an attempt to highlight the scratches...guess what? There were none!!! and Vic hasn't even put on any wax yet at this point..

All done! polish, sealant and hand applied wax.. Vics driveway and the midday sun is not the greatest time and place for pics but this is the best i could do for now..

driver's side.. another crappy over exposed picture my car never looked this good--even when new!!!

HUGE thanks to Vic for slaving away 5 hours of his day to do this awesome job.. it was hot as hell outside too so he was pretty drained when it was done..

So what'd he owe you to deserve this? OR should I say what did you do for him?

I was wondering when someone would notice haha I swapped sides with a friend temporarily... There are 2 diff sets of rims on my car .. It took me a while to warm up to it but the car seems to take on 2 diff personalities depending on what side you see...

Get rid of the ugly 7 spoke Gram Lights and put your Volks back on. Your car is just absolutely incredible. One of my top 5 favorite Zs (and I don't even like red).

I can't decide what side i like better.. Both sides are so different from each other... :-/ I do favor my Volks though.. mostly because the widths fill out the wheel well better (the gram lights look slightly tucked in comparison)

Having both these rims on the car sure gets a lot of interesting reaction tho.. Same thing goes for the G35 that I swapped with.. people don't expect it and just go when they see it ..

We might just keep it this way for a while

Looks shiny now. What's up with the different rims? I know why, but why? How's the ride with 2 different wheels? I would rather see you passing by showing off the right side with the Volks. Black spoke polished w/ red lining on the lip color coordinating FTW!!! Not loving that 7-spoke chromish gram light wheel at all.

I think the grams look hella better. The only thing I dont like about the volks is the lip, If the entire wheel was black like
these....
then i would agree but the lip is out of place with all the red/black you have on your car. Just my .02cents
