wow i think this is the first 17 year old thread thats hasnt been hated on, and on top of that people are giving advise. nice car man treat it well and it will treat you well. and most importantly drive safely.

 

Thats probably because hes more mature then every other 16-17 uear old that drives a Z. Plus he didnt come in asking how to install NAAAAAAAWS.

wow, I had to wait till I was 24, graduated from college, payed off my debt, got a good job and then got my 07 PPW which I really still can't afford!

At your age I was happy to have my liscense and my 89 honda accord! All I could do was dream about a car as nice as a Z.

i hope you understand the power that is under the hood of the car and that you MUST keep the racing on the track. Other than that enjoy and be the envy of high school. Congrats.

as long as you are responsible and not an idiot and dont take it for granted, i dont think many of us have a problem with it. Just dont be an idiot. Im only 20 and have a Supra TT, but i dont go racing every idiot i see and I consider myself pretty responsible when it comes to cars. Plus I do my own work on it with my dad for us, it was a way to spend some good time together since we own a shop, its fun to work on cars with your pops.

I got a 350z from em when I was 19, my dad liked it so he kept it and we got a supra for us to work on, I consider my self super lucky and dont worry when i am out of uva i will return to favor to them tenfold if i can.

Its all about your attitude, cause I know lots of 16-17 year olds with really nice cars and they are so spoiled and dont really feel bad about showing it off. Dont be that guy.
