My first pics... preview (SB, INGS LX, 20" VSXX...)
I think if you paint it, it would be a better look overall - if it were me, I'd pain the whole thing and leave just the trailing edge carbon fiber (where it lines up to the windshield. But to really make that work I think you need a little exposted carbon elsewhere (b pillars, mirrors), just so it flows

Good advice! Will definitely consider it. The b-pillars has always been on my 'to do list' anyway. So maybe this'll give me a good reason. I like the stock mirrors. The racey ones look good too, but I don't think they'll match my car much. Maybe the cf stock look that INGS sell. I don't know if anyone else sells them.
Oh wait, are you just making a sales pitch, that I should buy some stuff from you....
I kid.

Oh I have great taste BTW
One last thing. I would be uber pissed if my car was out of the body shop looking like that. I love your car dont get me wrong...I am a INGS LX and work wheel Z owner myself. BUT...................The double sided body tape is exposed everywhere!!!! The front and rear lip.
Also they installed the side skirts too tucked under the car. It shouldnt taper under the car like that, it should fall naturally.
Anways I am a super picky OCD guy but that is what I noticed.

its clear the car was not delivered that way, that was obviously how it came out after being painted...you can still see all the dust on the body, meaning it had just been moved out of the shop. In fact it looks like they did a fantastic job on the install, as everything lines up just as it should. I dont see double sided tape everywhere....you are simply seeing the reflections of sunlight at the edges where the kit meets the body of the car

I think you're seeing the strip lining that comes with the INGS kit to go inbetween the lips and bumper. It's very pale, and it looks good (although I'd have preferred a darker grey, instead of the light grey they sent me). I guess because they had just finished doing some polishing that you see a collection of white dust on the grooves that makes it stand out more.
Trust me, I'm very picky myself.
If you're talking about the side skirt on the left side, then your eyes are good. They hadn't fastened bolts to it yet apart from inside the door, so it was a little out. Not to mention that the both doors are slightly ajar, so it gives a bad effect on the lines of the car.
As far as the side skirts tapering under the car, that's how the INGS kit is. I'm not sure what you mean, but if you mean it's supposed to come straight down, it isn't. It's supposed to taper under the car. At least, it's not something you can screw up, once it's bolted up properly.
Thanks for the input though. Appreciate it.

Ahh I see. I looked once again and yes it was the left side skirt I was reffering to. Also I did not notice the doors being ajar...that would interupt the lines to my eyes.
As with the front and rear lips..I had my double sided tape installed under the edge so it is not visible at all. But after looking at INGS website pics they are identical to yours. I just think it looks cleaner hiding the adheasion strip.
Anways pimp car and good luck keeping that black paint shiney and swirl free. Tennis elbow anyone????

It's not adhesive tape by the way. It's just a thin rubber strip that goes along the edge. Like most oem lips nowadays.
The double sided tape is behind the lip, but you can't see it at all.

I actually ordered the Azuka Design hood, (after my previously ordered VS hood came bent in half), but the guy forgot about the order and when he remembered he ended up thinking I had wanted to back the VS hood.
Anyway, I don't mind the VS hood, I just read (I think your thread), about bad fitment in some cases. By the way, nobody beleives me. They think whoever had a bad fitting VS product must have gotten a fake VS product.
Anyway, I know sometimes even the 'BIG' brands make crappy products sometimes.

Mine is authentic, I got it from Intense Motorsports.
People dont believe me when I say its crap too, Synth ordered it after I warned him and he hated the thing by the time he was done with it.
I hope yours turns out better, would be nice to see one that fit right for a change.
