^True.
But keep working on it man, try changing the settings on your camera some more(I.E. exposure time ect....) and you will get some better pics and/or get a editing program to aid in color. I just bought a new camera last night, SD750, and a tripod and expect to blow my old shots away.

Are you shooting with a point and shoot camera?
If so, check your white balance settings, that will help to achieve a less ORANGE color from the surounding lights.
Post PROCESS the image if you have the capability...add or remove contrast and brightness or even adjust the mid-tones. All little tweaks at the smallest level can make the picture a touch better or worse for that matter.
If you are shooting DSLR try shooting in RAW format(something I rarely do because I am lazy). You can adjust everything once the picture is uploaded to your computer.
The picture DOESNT seem that bad...just really dark...you havent really begun to WASH colors out by OVER-EXPOSING but you have dliluted some of the visible colors with a bit too much contrast from being under-exposed. You might also be on a bridge with passing cars which could explain some of the less than crispness of the shot
I am no PRO...and I would never claim to be... I just used P&S for a few years and now use my DSLR to the best of my ability.
and for ANYONE wondering...the keeper percentage of shots is ussually FAIRLY low. A good photographer will have 15-20% of what they shoot thats decent and about 10% that is GOOD enough for print or showing to anyone. Average photo shoots might be over 1500-2000 seperate SHOTS and 15-20 of them MIGHT be used. If you arent that experienced 1/100 isnt horrific especially if they were all in the setting you posted.(mainly because that ammount and type of lighting and angle...not many worthwhile shots are going to be produced)

Umm, wow, thats really bad for being the best picture. The good news is it's doubtful you make your living with a camera, so who cares. And besides, you drive THE BEST $30,000 (IMHO) Sports Car on the Planet.

I'm sorry I just couldn't resist. Read this that I made it will help.

I can tell you why that picture doesn't work.
your composition is terrible..
your location is terrible..
your picture seems out of focus and not as sharp as a DSLR is capable of..
I assume the subject of the picture is a black Z at night?.. meaning you can't really see it given the lighting conditions
you're gonna need at the very least longer exposure.. taking pictures of a black car at night is really hard... unless you have pro lighting, black cars at night almost never come out right--There always seems to be some part of the picture that is under or over exposed..
Why don't you try some daytime pix first? They are easier.. find a nice deserted side road if you like road pictures..
