the ONLY reason i can come up with thats actually worth a damn is to, see how they fit, but if you see pics that prove they fit fine... then this reason is automatically moot,

not to stir the pot but because it bothers me so much........how is offset stealing your "WORK"? It's your style yes, maybe, but then look at all the other people with hardcore offsets that came before you.

Or let me ask you this, why is it a problem if we actually know your offset? I don't think offsets can be sold on ebay or to the black market....or maybe i just don't some deep dark secret going on in japan.

Your not the originator and i know your not saying that but come on. Wake up! Style's will be bitten, rehashed and used and spit out and maybe just maybe something will become better but not invented.

Are you the inventor of that wheel, that offset, that style? Your work at auto couture? No, Auto-Couture built that wheel for you or that comes in those offsets and sizes and you decided to stick it on your G. I'll truly give you props for that but it's ridiculous for you to think that you've made something so special it can't be answered. Thats fine though because thats your choice.

I can understand if someone took your look and said they were the first and got on a magazine cover but honestly what you've done has been done before.

And knowing offset is very important in style and in handling characteristics. So asking, "Why does knowing offset matter," is a little stupid to say the least, but of course there's no stupid questions.

I like your G but remember this, the fat lip crazy offset style has been done and beaten over and over again (I personally run a somewhat aggressive set up also) and it's truly nothing new except one guy either has a bigger lip then other guy with a crazy offset or the wheels is pushed out more...you know this much because you have a pretty crazy offset yourself.

Anyways so if your scared or annoyed by anyone stealing your work then don't post it. This may seem arrogant of me to say this but style is usually stolen or reinvented maybe to the point that it looks invented but not really.

Now yes you can post several things that are new in style but usually it's inspired by something and if you don't like people taking your looks or work as you call it keep it a secret because there will be tons and tons of newcomers to take that style and rock it or make it cooler.

just my 2 cents

Advent:

when you can take a brand new car on the market that hasnt had wheels done for it yet, look at it and do some measurements and slap on some HUGE lipp'd wheels that come within 2mm of touching but dont.. then ill bow down to you.. but for now.. please shut up with things you know nothing about.

offsets is how wheels fit, Auto-Couture doesnt have "set" offsets.. i call them and tell them the hoop sizes, the pad height, the offset and etc i want.. which means I designed these wheels.. which means they are MY WORK. when you call and design a set of wheels.. they can be your work..

E-***** slapped? What are you, 15 years old?

Actually, seeing your other posts and your need for acceptance from peers and feeling significant, I wouldn't doubt your lack of maturity.

The OP makes is sound like he just uncovered the secret quick way to 400whp N/A. LoL. They are just wheels and offsets. But congrats on the "build" of your wheels. I like deep dish wheels, but that is a little too deep for myself. As long as you like it though... thats what counts.

To the OP, i didnt seen any "editing" of your first post of that original thread, that posted your specs...

Wow, I have to agree with Advent, just because I "created" a color combination pair of Timb's on THEIR site doesnt make it my work! Wheels do look hot, but again nothing new! Also, since when has the CE28 TA's been new?

op if yor gonna be this big of a tool over how hard you worked to figure out the right offset for those big goofy *** wheels, maybe you shouldnt post here. This way the only people that have to be sickened by your ways will be those in the orlando area. And hopefully some one there will tell you where to stick them.

OMG. I still don't understand why offsets is such a big secret. I don't even care if you worked there, designed the wheels, and then went out to machine them. It's just an offset. I bet I or many other could do the same thing just by looking at other wheel setups.

Sick cars and wheels, I love EVo's.

The offset attitude and the rear camber on the G is just silly....and not in a good way, its pretty fawking gay.
