thanx guys.
my headlights actually do light up the road but i would say my lowbeams are cut in half.
my highbeams just hit the *****. lol. they dont do nothing. but i can still see and you know what, it was all worth it.

i did the same with my 03 HID lights... light output wasn't too bad after painting them, not enough to "run off the road (what an *** 
)".. But i agree with you, spending 1K on a set of 06+ lights is just not worth it IMO. I had plenty of other things i would have preferred to spend my money on MOD wise..
