I'm pretty sure DAMD uses 1x1 weave. Seibon uses both 1x1 and 2x2 weave but you'll see alot more 2x2.

I just changed my hood out for a carbon fiber one. I put dampers on my old hood, but they are too strong for the carbon one. Are there any dampers out there that will work with the lighter carbon fiber hoods?

CF Question:

I have a CF lip, I wated to place a clear bra prior to installing it on my bumper however I'm getting 2 different opinions from friends:

1. Not to put a clear bra on CF, because I will be unable to wax/polish the clear coat (which doesnt make sense to me, because, if I had a clear UV bra it would keep it in better shape?)

or...

2. Yeah you can put a clear bra on CF.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but I've never had CF exterior parts before.

Thanks, I already placed the CF lip on and I would like to keep it in good condition.
