As the title suggests, we had a crazy rainstorm today, and just near sunset it started to clear up in areas leaving a nice mix of colors in the sky. So I decided to run out and snap a few pics. I've done some basic contrast/brightness adjustments along with adding a 'blinds effect' to get that look of a filter seen on a lot of the Top Gear video. Came out pretty damn good I think...

why do they look grainy and out of focus when i enlarge them? is it just me? nice pics other than that though

 

yeah theyre a little noisy/grainy, but they are nice pictures nonetheless!

 

Yeah I screwed the settings up when I took the pics and didnt realize it. Plus I didn't bring a tripod which really helps.

But a couple came out alright, I was mainly going for the lighting effect and the sky which I think came out nice.
