So my rationale was to get an NSX (I've always loved it) and keep it for a couple of years until things settle down in the GTR market (hopefully). If I do indeed sell the NSX, I won't lose too much money as they are slowly becoming collector items (and might even make a buck or two).

If this move was to save money, let me ask one thing. How much did you loose on all the mods you did to your Z?
Not really a move to save money, but rather a move to get the most money NOW and start another project. Keep in mind guys I bought my car brand new in April of 2003. It was time for a chance.

Well, just because im in a certain situation as of now. How much did you sell the car for? And how much money in mods did you put into the car? Feel free to not reply or send me a PM if thats better for you.
It would help me out a lot. Thanks.
Getting rid of the car for a car that is 10 years older? Not something I would do but its your choice. Plus all cars depreciate, some just depreciate faster then others. I would of kept the Z until I can get the GTR.
Congrats on the sale and great choice on the NSX. Your Z was certainly one of the better and most tastefully modded ones on this site. Look forward to seeing what you do on the NSX.
True. However, many of the NSX's out there have peaked to their lowest depreciation point. Now, we're seeing these cars actually hitting that "sweet spot" and some are even starting to almost appreciate (depending on year/miles/etc). This is something that I see continuing as these cars are slowly turning into collector items.
