Easy...

Attach a ruler extended off the side of a skateboard.
Have fishing wire attached to the ruler and the model car.

Have the camera firmly placed on the skateboard and have it take pics as you are rolling slowly along a smooth surface.

Will it work? Probably...probably not!

Oh just make sure you have a GI Joe hanging out the window.
