LOL, yeah it would definitely help. The transportation system near Tokyo is confusing even for people that speak Japanese, so for us it would be a nightmare haha. It's not only the cuisine that is good, the fruits and vegetables have a much more righ flavor as well. I'm not sure if they use less pesticides or not.

I would highly recommend an escort or try making friends or hooking up with someone that speaks Japanese. It helps a lot especially when utilizing the transportation system in Tokyo. My girl is native japanese and we still got lost a few times lol. I would highly recommend experiencing this culture. It has been a blast so far

I took japanese in college, its not a hard language, just have to keep up, I started slacking and passed with a c+, but I still couldn't watch anime and catch any words they say

Haha thanks. I didn't get to fully experience the night life. Roppongi is imo a bit too crowded and sort of ghetto. On one hand, it is interesting because of the diversity, but not quite the diversity i'm into. I heard that Shinjuku is another night life spot to check out for the more mature crowd.

It may be because I have partied in LA, Hollywood, Mexico, and other parts of the US...so maybe i'm not that easily impressed and overly excited. I tend to cherish other things more these days than just getting F'd up

Japanese doesn't seem too difficult since the accent is not too harsh. However, i'm not sure how difficult it would be to fully be fluent with the writing as well. I think learning different languages just comes easier to others and harder for others
