Mel,
Nice choice on the graphics I kinda like em cause they are different.
But dam to many stickers you got so dirty in such as short amount of time lol.
But good luck at SEMA.
Mel, everyone has opinions....some are good for our ego's and others just
need to be forgotten. It's very cool you were invited to SEMA, not many of
us are that lucky. Congratulations, and by the way I like your graphics! Gary
that is ill. hopefully the car will get a ton of press. very original.
self-design?
Tokico actually hired a graphic designer for this project. They used the Z's bulging rear fenders as the centerpoint of the wave. InStyle Graphics layered several waves together, since it didn't come in one big piece out of their vinyl machine.
Hopefully the design will catch some eyes from the press.

Hi Gary,
I agree with you 100% bro. There's no way in the world I can please everyones taste. All I can do is try to step out of the box when an opportunity like SEMA presents itself. Not everyone can spend $100K for a booth out there...and Tokico will have two of them.
I'm not quite sure people understand what it takes to be asked to have your car displayed at SEMA....
The graphics will probably not stay on the car after SEMA, but it is quite an honor to have your car used as a display car at a trade show. It's probably the pinnacle of building a car in terms of recognition, next to having a magazine feature.
Regardless.... Big congrats again cuz! Wish my car was chosen.

Thanks cuzin! Yeah, I'll probably keep the graphics for the '09 show year minus all the Tokico banners on the window, hood, rear bumper, and doors. I believe it would be a liability to them if I were to keep it on indefinitely.
I can only dream to be featured in a magazine... let alone a cover car like yours!
Car looks great but the tokico graphic on the hood looks a lil' like a *****. lol
