Im looking to remove the black guard from the center of my stock bumper to show off my FMIC. I was told to take it to a body shop. Is there a safe alternative to needing a body shop? Im not the most handy person in the world, so if this needs to be cut out, sanded down, repainted, etc, a body shop is the best idea I guess. I do not want it to look half-assed, I want it smooth and not looking like it needs a paint job cause something was hacked out. thanks!

Top Secret CF front diffuser. It runs under the engine replacing the flimsy OEM tray. No need to remove it for oil changes it has an access door.
