In my opinion this actually looks like a car, not that thing they have designed by some high school morons
One of the most important things to designing a car is complementing the lines, which i did in these chops, nissan designers have unfortunately failed to complement the design lines of this car with ugly heads and tails.
Enjoy, comments and criticism are welcome![Smilie](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

looks awkward to me...I'm not the biggest fan of the boomerangs, but atleast they're distinct. The slits that you made look too Celica-ish.
BTW, this would be better suited in the Photoshop forum, or the 370Z forum (which is full of photoshops like yours where they only took out the boomerangs).

actually, with that tip end cut off, you killed the hoop-back-to-the-side line which accompanies the car's waistline character line. The rear tail lights look stagnant and lack any form of dynamic...basically doing what the current Z33 does--which is not such a good thing.
Additionally, you have successfully made the headlights MUCH smaller in proportion to the overall car.
You've successfully done the opposite of complimenting the car's line and proportion. But don't take it from me, I'm simply a transportation designer by profession...
On a positive note, it is good that you attempted the render edit, so that we can at least use it as a proof to judge whether it would be better or worse with the headlight hooks eliminated.
Ultimately, just my $0.02.
