I need to install a few suspension pieces and mount the tires on the te's before I drop the car. I already changed all of the fluids while I wait for parts to arrive.

At that time, I can have a better assessment on how ground clearance is with the panel on. However, I will be on KW V3 coilovers instead of the JIC FLT-A2's this time around. Should be interesting

It's really not that bad. I did a DIY write up on the install for those interested:

https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-...s-install.html

The main hassle/time consumption is drilling a couple of holes in the unibody and getting the damn bolts in the strange nuts that are provided. I'm sure Rick will be able to bust it out in no time.

Hahah. I subscribed to the thread a while back. I already have the fenders ready to come out within a few minutes and the fender liner is already gone. Should be a pretty quick install

Hey Rick how are the KW v.3 coils? Have you tested them on your Z yet or did you ride someone else's ride that had them? How's the ride on them? I was thinking of picking these up.

Yeah, just knowing how much you take body panels off and such I knew you would have it done quick. Can't wait for the transformation man, watching your thread is like watching somebody else have Christmas everyday, it's still enjoyable for some reason. LOL

I only have the rear suspension in so far. I should have the fronts in soon. I've heard nothing but good reviews about them. Apparently, the ride is very smooth.

LOL, it is christmas in a different way. I'm selling off my old parts to fund the new ones. I'm doing all of the uninstall/install work myself which is a PITA sometimes, but it is so rewarding when everything is done. I have vowed to never let a shop touch my car unless I have no choice. I found miscellaneous broken clips on my a-pillars etc. which really ticked me off knowing that I was never told about it.

LOL, I don't roll with mary jane in this ride. The only greens it has are the cage and the seat belt harnesses lol.

No plans for SBC yet. I personally hate them, but will make the switch once I want better traction and control.

The photos will show up tomorrow according to photobucket. I was not about to pay $40 to upgrade to a pro account.

GT Spec Dry Carbon strut bar arrived today. The ARC titanium and this bar are about the same weight according to my scale.
