I looked into it but all the owners I know that have/had one go through a lot of problems and maintenance on them is hefty.

I was looking into a super car and one thing I realized is that being able to buy one is totally different than being able to afford. Buy? Yes I could probably buy a used super car but I can't afford all the maintenance and scheduled servicing it demands. I know a few people with some exotics and these cars aren't a simple pop the hood and fix the problem type. Everything is electronically controlled and has sensors which require you to bring your car to a certified dealer and that costs a lot per visit. ALL my friends that own super cars tell me there's always some electronic problem that goes on and just to get it checked is expensive (does not include labor and parts). I want a car that I can enjoy and not worry about always breaking down or having issues. I've had my Z since I bought her brand new and I've had zero issues.

No problems on mine so far. Not a bunch of gizmos either. However, if something were to break down I could see how it might get expensive.

LOL. The NSX was considered just recently. The FD along with r32, z32 and 3gs were options back when I was in the market for another sports car. That was four years ago. I didn't get the Rx7 because of the list of problems owners were experiencing. That's why I joined their forum back then to research and look into the car before I pulled the trigger.

and btw, every time i come into this thread and see pics of your Z i realize why i still have mine.

Thanks, I didn't know you have both cars. I'm shooting an FD this weekend.

I used to have two "play" cars at home, but it didn't work out too well. One was taking attention away from the other, not to mention all the time it took away from doing other things. Having just my Z as my play car opened up room for so many other things in life. In the end, its the best decision.

Sorry dude, I don't clearly understand what you're saying but I think I get the idea

The only thing left to go crazy with is the engine. I'm not really going to touch anything else other than a BBK. I might just opt to go with the GT Brembos. If I go FI I plan on either going with either APS or Greddy twins.

Maybe change out the spoiler? As you know a BBK would complete the exterior.

I have a three car tandem garage, my truck is usually parked there. I just pushed my car back for this photo.
