Haha I would! If only it didn't have boomerang headlights and taillights!
I bought my evo when I turned 28. Evo's are fun to drive and if you know how mod it right...you'll get some respect.

I hear you, Just giving you a hard time. I just remember a thread regarding Evo's (I used to own 1) you said something like "most Evo owners in your area was rich and ricey" and a few months later you sold your Z and got an Evo.

And for what it's worth, I think I managed to show one side of the Evo that you might not often see - a touch of class. Don't get me wrong, it is extremely hard to drive this car around and *not* look like you're going straight for the track with the huge carbon wing sticking out of the back. But when I parked it at a high-end shopping mall, I got plenty of compliments from the girls working at Cole-Haan as well as a Ferrari f430 owner in his 60s, who told me he loves Evos and is looking for an Evo 10 MR to daily drive (he can't drive a manual for personal reasons and the Evo 9 is the last MR to have a 6spd manual).

Very nice! Glad you got something you really wanted. Besides the Z, G, and of course the GT-R, I have a world of respect for STi's and EVO's. Japanese cars that are truly of being "worthy" in the tuning scene because they have so much potential.

Thanks for the love guys. Switching from a 5AT to a 6 spd manual is incredible...For the first few months there were times when sitting in traffic sucked more than I could handle, but now it comes to me naturally so I love it!
+1 on whoever said you have a special touch for aesthetics.
IMHO when people do a bunch of mods for looks, 95 percent of the time it ends up looking worse than stock. Often times it's too much agressiveness everywhere with the end result looking cartoonish. Sometimes its because people pick parts that don't look good together, destroying the natural lines of the car instead of enhancing them.
But my hat goes off to you sir. Every time i see any pictures of your car (former and present) I'm amazed that at how well they turned out. You have a special talent.
