the only thing i can think of is it prolly looks 'off' to anyone who knows Z's. knowing its a factory color that has been modified w/ a matte finish would throw some people off thinking something has happend to the paint. i know i would think to myself, WTH is wrong w/ that car not knowing its done on purpose.

not sure if i explained myself properly. lol.

What did this cost you? I've been thinking about matte for a long time, just don't know if the words affordable and quality go together in this situation.

 

matte/flat colors FTW! especially if it's got some metallic flakes in it...

i agree some people might be wondering what's up with the paint... had a bunch of school kids ask me to wash my car properly!

the postprocessing and/or lighting makes it really difficult to tell exactly what the paint looks like.

A normal picture, especially when showing off matte finishes, goes a long way.
