The car is "OK," it's just cosmetics.
I was concerned more about the improvement of the pics...
It's really surprising though, that people like the Advans more. I do miss them, and wish still had them, or the RS's... but I like my TE's equally as much. *sigh*
Whatcha running now? Post up a pic...
BTW, CAR IS OK... picture is great. You got it backwards
Finally, a critique of the pic... yeah, overall definition of the old pic was better, actually used a 1:1 macro for it. But the situation of the old pic had advantages... like using an ND filter so I could shoot earlier in the evening with more light. I forgot the ND filter
The dark spots are shadows where the flash was blocked... couldn't flash it from the front of the car, and there were cars passing as it's a relatively busy overpass. I thought about painting the lip, but it's always 50/50 in cosmetic decisions. Sometimes you feel like you like it black, other times you wonder if it would look better painted.
Thanks for the comments.DON'T....

BTW, I have alot more.

colors are better, but the definition in the rear quarter was more attractive in the original pic. the rims also have dark spots on the concave spokes that need to be touched up IMO. I also like the clarity of the light streaks better in the new one, much better.
I must say I like the new rims.. TEs are my favorite. but the front lip (though I like it better) doesn't flow well with the painted side skirts as well.
nice shot!

you should fill in the indentation on the sideskirts with black. you could use vinyl for cheaps. to match the front much better.
and wow, I thought your rims were bronze from the night pic!
overall second shot was much better. first was too light.

BTW, guys, I wholeheartedly recommend using off camera strobes if you can...
Here's an old idea I made new again...
Use strobes in parking garages instead of long exposure the other week.
You can see here... all I used were 2 bare cheapo strobes (Sunpak 383 Super) with remotes (Skyport) cause I was too lazy to bring anything else. One of the strobes did not fire if you notice as it did not recharge in time.

It allowed me to handhold at 1/160... in a parking garage! Simple and effective.

Again, just strobes from either side...

Which had me reevaluate the car, and I sort of agreed. What made me switch to the Varis front was a critique (yes, a singular member of this forum... of whom I forget) of the C-West front being "bulky." And that one critique made me reevaluate it's "bulk." It took me 9 months of thinking and irritation, and I pulled the trigger on the Varis... which actually was my first choice, but the price and AVAILABILITY, made it out of the question. I loved the fact that it looked like the SuperGT fronts with the middle portion raised. When Bulletproof had a damaged one... heck, I had to jump on it.Then came the dillema of color... paint, or leave it carbon. If it's painted, it'll go all to hell from rock chips alone, so I decided on leaving it... heck, an inspirational car, ie. Leemik's car, is doing just that:

Yes, Mike's car was and still is a huge inspiration, but my cosmetic choices was not based solely on his car, ie: the rims was from the first time I saw the Greddy car sporting the bronze TE's... But yeah, going back on topic, I don't know why Mike's car flow's better... Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm totally unhappy with the look I have now. And it's not like I'm totally happy either.
So I have made up my mind that if I ever wanted to do anything about it, money willing (goddamn camera accessories just is killing me,) that I will take this route:

These are the Varis sides. Thankfully, I saved most of my OEM parts. But instead of the Varis, which of course, comes with espense and wait time, both of which I cannot afford, I have chosen to go with the Chargespeed Bottomline sides and rear. But that's not until next year...

Thanks for the critique though, and when you see the Chargespeed sides on... you can go to bed knowing you singlehandedly affected part of the looks of a Z33 across the Pacific.
Everyone has this wing... er... at least a knock off of it. Read on page 1 of this thread, or if you're lazy, read on...
It's a Blitz. Authentic Blitz, which was hard to get, and pretty exclusive.

I was being sarcastic in the reply. But a truck? DAMN! Get the Nismo, and maybe some RS's this time. I'm actually debating to get some RS's as a side pair to switch out with the TE's on a 6 month basis... call me crazy.

Man your Crazy. hahaha you told me to. I figured you were hahaha
I am trying to find a nice low mileage low priced PPW nismo. I actually really like the Te37 in your color or the RS. I wish they made the RG's in 19's.
So you rent your place out for Honeymoons
or just a damn vacation
Chris

I do believe you had pointed that the black lip don't flow well in a past thread.

Goddamn economy
Have to wait for next year's tax returns.

The pics you had with the Chargespeed underwing sides look amazing. I really like it. if I was better at photoshop I would illustrate what I was visualizing and I think you would like it as a interim, very cheap solution to making it flow better.

car is getting better and better!
Erwin, the Varis sides look unbelieveably good on your car.. definately do it when you got the cash flow..
Your C-West lip probably didn't work too well in the past because you had gold rims and that particular lip was huge and didn't really match anything else on the car.. Now that you have the darker gunmetal TE's I bet that C-West lip would flow better.. but I wouldn't change it.. I think the Varis is hotter!
