A vendor from another site was prepping a Lambo for the race and was posting pics of the progress. The owner of the Lambo was also posting and said it was a 47K dollar buy-in. Also, I guess some UK company does all of the car wrappings (http://www.raccoon.co.uk/gallery.php).

The same vendor was looking for someone to donate the use of their Lambo to loan to an unnamed celeb that was flying in for the race and didn't have time to import their car. For the use of the car they were allowed to follow in a different car and join the race. But hotel and cost of shipping car from Fla. was the owners responsibility ( he didn't receive too many positive responses).

 

I was eating dinner in New Orleans on Burbon St when these cars rolled down the street with a police escort. It was a beautiful site.
