Default Leo's G35TT Green Monster Build up!

Hey guys. I don't post much on the forums, but I finally decided put some time/pics together to show my build.
Hope you guys Enjoy!!! WARNING: IT'S LONG!!!

The Project Starts...

I picked up 1yr old 06 G35 Coupe with 16k mi on it from Kenny (da mayor) @ Infiniti of messapiqua on July 4th 07.
(The dealership was closed for Independence Day, but Kenny personally came out and delievered my car on his holiday. Thanks for the special delievery haha.)
Pic of the same night. I didn't remember what it looked like until I saw this picture haha.

Now the Fun Starts...
V1. Clean and Simple...

- Interior/System
Coming from European Tuning seen, I wanted my car look Simple and Clean. and Wanted to go for more VIP style-ish. So I got the Interior and Sound system done to accompany my car's VIP look.
- Sparco Milano Prestige 2 custom upholstered.
- Sparco Flash 5 Steering Wheel, Drift E-brake, Sport Pedals, Racing Harness
- Matching Door Panels, Rear Seats, Re-uphostered Dash, Center Console, Wrapped all the panels, pillars, rear deck....
- JL 12w7 powered by 1000/1
- Morel Hybrid fronts
- Morel Tempo Rear
- Zapco C2K 6.0, Ref 360.4, sp-4, 30 band EQ
- Pioneer D3
- Autometer Nexus series Gauges

And looks like this...

-Engine

Before I got the car, I had a plan to build a widebody showcar.
APR widebody to be exact. I fell in love with the bodykit I had to get the car lol.
BUT, Any show car without Go mods is not for me.
So, I shopped around to find a good/reputable shops in the Tristates to help me to get my project going. And found VinnyTen Racing in NY.
Then, I put on some parts...

-VTR Stage 3 Fully built Engine containing:
Darton M.I.D Sleeve
ARP Studs kit
CP Pistons
ACL/Calico Bearing
Cometic Head gasket
Carrilo H beams w/WMC bolts
Nismo Crank, Oil Pump
Ported and Polished Heads
Titanium Lower Retainers
Dual Single Valve Springs Etc...

-HKS Hi-Power Exhaust system

-Stoptech 14" front/Rear Brake kits
-KW v2 Coilover

-Eibach Sway bar

-JWT700BB Twin Turbo Kit

After all the Go Mods done to it. I little Photoshoot Before Cosmetic Surgery.

- The Beginning of the WideBooty!!!

After all the go mods were done, I had a very little fun driving the car due to the break in period, And a show schedule I wanted to make.
So my sleeper looking G was taken to Bodyshop and all the Body Killing Dust project was begun.

My initial Build included:
- APR Wodebody, Molded G2 Trunk Spoiler, Molded Front Grill, Painted Taillights

All the test fittings, Fiberglassing, Sanding almost made me give up lol.
Maybe it's just me but the APR kit I got had a HORRIBLE fitment.
Atleast that was the impression I got.

Anyways, after whole lot of inhaling dust...

And my choice of color was... Lambo white with HOK Red/Diamind Flakes.
I wanted it to stand out a lil bit from the other white cars. And it did in person. (few of the guys saw my car last year at various HIN shows.)
But it looked stock IP on the pics which was a BIG turn off for me.

Anyways, pics talk louder than my words...
My first show @ HIN BOSTON

@ Carisle, PA

@HIN OH (It was a fun drive 10 straight hour. No Blue tape lol)

Then.... Switched out a few things...
Like Coilover switched from KW v2 to JIC a2.
Powdercoated pipings, Manifold, Rims....
Stoptech to Project MU...
@HIN NY

@Wheel Concept Show

Then I had a few month between the show schedule, so I decided to spice it up a lil bit and more extreme than VIP.
So started cutting out some parts and molding things....
and it was the Beginning of V2 and went EXTREME!!! (inspired from Drift cars)

-Hood

-Fender

- Built up around the Sides/ Front/Rear Bumper to Wrap the wheels more. (Making it more rounded than Straight)
- Rear Quarter/Side

And...........................Last but not Least
NEW PAINT!!!!!! PPG Custom Mixed 3stage Lime green with Blue/Green Pearl

I know it looks wierd huh?
Well this color doesn't look that good in picture I donno why?
But It's got the Blue/Green Pearlcent to it so if you see it in person,
It's not THAT nasty lol.

NOW.....

I've made a few changes since the new paint job.
- Graphics

- APR GTC300 Spoiler (AKA my new lunch table lol)

- Carbonetics 2way LSD

- Nismo Diff Cover

- Zeal Coilover

And More Engine Bling mods aloing with lil more HP!!!!
- ARC Strut, Caps, Catch Can
- Polished Manifold, Pipings, Greddy Intercooler
- Greddy TI-C Exhaust, HKS BOV, JWT Cam, CJ Fuel system with Twin Pump Setup

And making about 650whp!!!! on high boost.(22~23psi)

Like I said in the beginning, It's NOT DONE! and more stuff is in the works.
BUT I'd like to say Thanks to All my Sponsors who helped me get here.
Metro Body : For Providing excellent Body Work, and Following my tight Schedule. (Now you should know 1day before show is Leo's day lol)
Falken Tire : For providing me a great set of Tires, and inviting me to great events and VIP hospitality!
Vividracing : For getting me the all the parts and making a great deals for Me.
Vinnyten Racing for Excellant Craftmanship and service, and Countless sleepless nights to get my car done intime.

And My teammates @ TWCompetition

and thanks to the friends
-Glex25 for crawling under my car lol
-da mayor for looking out and hooking me up with headlights.
-Rookie for answering my questions.
and many more that helped/inspired me to get to this level, I THANK YOU!

Stay tuned... I will try to get some more pics sometime soon.(As soon as the weather clears up)

Thanks for the Kind comments.
I'm just gald my project is coming along in one piece.

Wheels are in the works. hehe.
But actually went narrower. (The current HRE is 12.5" with 315 tire)
I think I need to have front to come out lil more and Bigger diameter overall.
I def need more professional pics taken.
If you are in Tristate Area and a good at taking pics. PM me.

+1

Felt you lose your euro clean and simple plan half way through the build, but pulled through at the end with a great finished product.
