Note to the haters: Curbs are stationary. Don't hit them and you won't get curb rash.
Haha no doubt man. I've had cars with the stretch look for years now and never once curbed a wheel.
It isn't too hard if you know how to drive, lol.
Stretching tires aint for everyone I know that by now but wanted to post the pics anyways.
I agree about 20s being much. I was gonna do 19s but I plan on getting a 370z within the next year so these 20s will go on that car unless I change my mind in the mean time and get something different (more than likely will happen).
Very nice indeed!!!
But with the 20s, you need a lip kit to make it look lower. It just looks like stock ride height (talking about bumpers/skirts/rear).
Plus I think you could go an extra 5cm lower in the rear.
Other than that, banging!
I don't think he can go that low. 5cm is the equivalent of another 2" drop!
Yeah man, I aint trippin on the haters. Doesn't bother me one bit at all. My car gets props everywhere I go. Nothing but compliments from people that see the car in person.
This is when things start to get TOO aggressive. Doesnt a set up like this limit the drive ability of the car??? The Z is too much fun with a "real" setup to have something like this. But thats subjective, enjoy
Jeez, people are ridiculous. Look at the OP's rear wheels. See how far that lip and bead sticks out from the tire? He won't need a curb for a good rash, all he needs to do is take a semi-aggressive turn and I guarantee that the ground will do the job that a curb would.
And please just stop with the "only morons curb their wheels" because I'm willing to bet that EVERYONE on this board has rashed a wheel at some point or other.
Maybe he doesn't daily drive the damn thing? Getting tired of the same people post on all the thread where they have stretched tires that they hate it..great you hate it move on. They do not want fat tires because you can't get aggressive with 255/265fronts 295-315 rears.. nor can you slam the ride. I love the wheels, but the wheels for some reason look bigger then the car itself, even when they're 20s I've seen some pull it off. You do need some big kit to make it flow better. Still looks badazz.
