Car in the SHOP__OH BOY!

So here I was all anxious for the painting and I totally forgot they would have to fit the rear bumper to the newly flared fenders. Anyways I went in tonight and took a look. They cut the sides of the rear bumper and extended the width of the do-luck rear right at 3 inches on each side. Needless to say I was pretty siked to see the a$$ of my car is gonna be 6" wider.
They are essentially connecting the cut piece and the bumper with layers of fiber glass, currently with screws just to hold it in place as well as a piece of, what seemed to be 6x12 piece of wax as well to hold it in place.
Anyways here are a few pics of it, I did my best to capture how wide it will be but there was a supra in my way, damn it!.
I have to give credit where credit is due...this is no longer a do luck bumper, these guys are putting so much work into it its a custom bumper in my eyes.
Just so some of you ride height nuts out there know..the car is NOT lowered all the way off the lift the fender wall sits right below tire height.

I own a '04.5 Touring Coupe that just came outta the lighbulb "oven", and it looks new!!! It's also White Pearl, with just 22,700+k on it. S-w-e-e-t ride; the only repair it's needed, so far, is a new power window motor (driver's side). She's beautiful!!! G'luck!

Quick update for any1 thats interested. My 295/30's came in yesterday and the shop got them mounted and balanced. I can be totally honest when I say I wont go any bigger with my tires at a 10.5" wide rim. I think this size is perfect for the rim. The profile isnt to high and the tire doesnt bulge out from the rim, its pretty much flush...my 2 cents.
315's would just add a fat roll hanging out. I want my rim sticking out there not some flabby rubber stickin out.
Anyways on to the car. The rear bumper is almost ready for the primer. They are at the body filler(or bondo) stage...YAY! I'll have picture updates either saturday or monday. The rest of the car is preped and ready for paint. The door handles and side mirrors are totally disassembled and sanded.
Cross your fingers for me that the car is gonna be in the paint booth on monday and I'll have it back by thursday
